Sunday

Today my immediate family and I spent time at my grandfather's house and we chilled with my cousins and my aunt Foa. Foa is my dad's sister, and her kids are wonderful. Later in the afternoon, my uncle Bruce, my dad's brother, came with his wife and kids which are babies, and we all had a blast. I am the oldest grandchild on my dad's side, and for some reason, I like it. I feel like my first-cousins are my siblings, because we are so close. Anyways, it is 6:30 and we are heading back home. It might take 8-10 hours to get home because of the traffic, but I had a great trip and this trip meant a lot to me.

Saturday

Today was an awesome day. My family and I checked out of our hotel and then we went to my uncle's house. After that, we went to the lake with my cousins, aunts, and uncles. It was so beautiful and the view was extraordinary. My sisters and I took pictures because the water had so many gorgeous rocks in it and it was amazing. We also went swimming in the lake, and the water was so cold, but it was so hot out there; so the water felt good. My dad barbequed chicken and there were varieties of food that my aunts and uncles brought. There was fried rice, cupcakes, chips, chicken, sandwiches, and regular rice. When it started to get dark, we packed up and we went to my grandpa's house and spent the night there.

Friday

Today was very hard. Today was the burial service for my great-grandfather. It was very heartbreaking and depressing. He was an awesome father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. I loved him so much, even though I didn't spend time with him all the time; but every time we did spend time together, it was memorable and I'll cherish those memories forever. After we buried him, we had a get together in a big hall that was not too far from the cemetery. It ended off as a great night and everyone went home to rest.

Thursday

Today was the viewing of my great grandfather, Patitaoto Lagituaiva Tu'ulima Maga. It was a service of 3 hours. Everyone went up to say their goodbyes and some people gave speeches. The part that hit me the most, was when my great grandfather's kids and grandkids gave individual speeches and memories of him. We all called him "G-POPS" for short and he was a man with pride, but a man that was always humble at the same time. In the stories that I've heard about him, he was a family man who loved to work hard for his family. My family and I sang a song to end my dad's speech. Later, we went to my uncle's house and then here I am, writing this blog. Today was though day, but I know it will get better even though tomorrow is going to be worse.

Wednesday

Last night, my family and I checked into a hotel. We were staying at my uncle's house, and then we stayed at my grandpa's house for one night. After we checked in last night, I went swimming with my cousins. I couldn't take anymore pictured because my camera died, so I'm using my own camera right now. I just woke up about 30 minutes ago and it is 11:24. I finished my food from last night which was burger king, and I had nuggets. Now I'm writing, and I'm going to go do my homework.
